BLEDSOES MUSTER and RIFLE FROLIC

GUIDELINES AND SCHEDULE 

Hats :
Acceptable - Round hat, cocked hat, knit caps.
Unacceptable -Floppy and poorly styled hats, dead animals.

Shirt :
Acceptable - White or natural linen, small check linen.
Unacceptable - Calico or block printed shirts, cotton shirts.

Jackets (REQUIRED, as in you must have an outer garment on when not in camp, a waistcoat s not an outer garment. You're not on the farm, you're visiting neighbors) :
Acceptable - Linen or wool broadcloth jacket cut in the correct style.
Unacceptable - Wearing just a waistcoat over a body shirt, synthetic fabrics or F&I era
clothing. No, just cause you’re older doesn’t mean you get to wear 20 year old outdated clothing.

Breeches or Trousers :
Acceptable - Leather, linen or wool breaches in the correct style. Linen trousers. Unacceptable - Baggy ill-fitting breaches, authentic fabrics.

Stockings :
Acceptable - Natural color Wool or silk stockings with a seam up the back. Unacceptable - Striped stocking, synthetic stockings

Shoes :
Acceptable - Buckle shoes, pucker toe moccasins. Unacceptable - Hi-Low Trekkers (limited), modern shoes

Leggings :
Acceptable - Broadcloth or stroud leggings in red, blue or green. Buckskin leggings
(Limited)
Unacceptable - Baggy leggings, drab colors.

Hunting Shirt :
Acceptable : Linen in natural or dyed colors caped and fringed.
Unacceptable : Walnut dyed pull over shirts, split front waggoners smocks, bulky
cotton hunting shirts.
 
Additional Guidelines : BEARDS must be less than 2 weeks growth. No 90s Longhunter attire. Please consult the Minute Man Living History Standards for NPS (MEN AND WOMEN) that can be found via a google search for additional info on acceptable clothing. 
 
 Camps should be small. Single wedge tents and small shelters are acceptable. No Marquees, fly's, wall tents, baker lean-tos, lots of camp furniture ( tables, chairs, camp kitchen etc.) Please keep camps minimal and sparse.

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY 

Arrival and setup 

SATURDAY

10-12 - Militia Muster and Drill

12-1 - Lunch

2-4 - Rifle Frolic

6 - Dinner (Please bring something to contribute) 7:30 - Dance and social near the stone house 

SUNDAY

10-11 - Drill and final dismissal of militia

Attendees may put out some trade blankets throughout the day. No marquees, wall tents, flys etc. If you have questions, please ask.
